New Hi-Life Companion album!

We’re delighted to announce that the new Hi-Life Companion record ‘Our Years In The Wilderness’ will soon be available from No Pudding Annie Records – it’s on it’s way back from the printers and features 11 new songs, mixed by James Muir and all concerned in some way with growing up in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.

OYITW cd cover

The track listing is:

Brockweir House

Meet Me At The Pier

I Served On Ships

The Hole In The Fence

Raise An Army

These Last Remaining Days

Old Bristol Road

Dark Heart

Our Years In The Wilderness

Cast You Down

It will also be available from Amazon, Itunes, Cd Baby and from this web-site. We’ll post back here once the album is out and available and we have a proper release date – hopefully in the next few weeks. We’re really looking forward to it being out in the world – making a record is always such a long journey when you have grown-up jobs, children, live all over the West Country and can’t remember how to play the guitar.

This interview from earlier in the year by Unhappy Jackyl gives some background and context to the formation of the album:
